Innovative event location in the Danube valley
The M3ELF Lounge in Obermarchtal is an architectural highlight within the new Adventure Park, which offers trend sports such as adventure golf and curling. Designed by Rapp Architects from Ulm, the modern building serves as a service facility and event venue. With its clear geometry and timeless design, the lounge creates a harmonious connection with the surrounding natural landscape of the Danube valley, providing a relaxing space with its understated wooden and glass facades that contrast with the dynamic, sporty activities outside. With a gross floor area of 700 sqm, the lounge accommodates up to 270 guests and impresses with a unique ambience, significantly shaped by the lighting solutions from LTS.
Lighting concept as an expression of architectural vision
The primary challenge in the lighting design was to develop a concept that accentuates the simple elegance of the angular building structure while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. LTS worked closely with the architects and the electrical installers from Elektro Buck GmbH to find a solution that meets both functional and aesthetic requirements. “The indirect lighting and carefully chosen highlights provided by LTS luminaires create a warm and inviting atmosphere where our guests feel comfortable and safe.“, explains Heiko Heitele, Managing Director of M3ELF. The precise alignment of the light sources creates atmospheric highlights that complement the architecture without overshadowing it.
Sustainable and efficient lighting solutions for a unique ambience
The M3ELF Lounge sets an example of ecological awareness with its sustainable construction and energy-efficient lighting. Various LTS luminaires were used, offering high light quality and flexibility, seamlessly integrating into this concept. The Jamie spotlight provides targeted accent lighting with excellent colour rendering. The Flixx downlights offer uniform general lighting, while the Decoline LED light strips create special lighting effects in the lounge. The Lichtkanal 060 complements the concept with versatile application possibilities and energy-efficient illumination. These bespoke solutions help position the lounge in Obermarchtal as an example of modern architecture and innovative lighting technology.
